Introduction to the SCRI Forum

The SCRI Forum came into existence following the integration of three good practice construction networks. These were the Process Network that considered process and process issues relevant to the performance and efficiency of construction tasks and themes; the Design & Construction Network that considered solution to construction conflicts and fragmentation and the SIENE network that highlighted I.T. solution and progressive technological advances for use within the construction and allied industries. Now the SCRI Forum makes good progress aiming to be one of the most exciting places to discuss and deliver practical innovative solution, best/good practice and leading research relevant to the built and human environment to the construction industry.

SCRI Forum Vision

The SCRI Forum intends to promote an improved understanding of construction industry needs, and exchange knowledge and research between construction and allied industry communities.

Objective

The Forum objective is to network and share best practice, knowledge and innovative solution with the construction and allied industries, integrating the supply chain and understanding the built and human environment.

Activities

The Forum stages participatory workshops that provide industry stakeholder integration through breakout sessions and networking.
Debates and discussions will take place during workshop events fostering knowledge exchange and the sharing of innovative solutions and best practice, thus promoting competition and continuous improvement.
Information on the progress of the industry's innovative solutions is available to all through an ongoing website with downloadable publications and information relevant to the research and solutions presented during the events.
